Water-supply and site-survey brief for sprinkler discussions

Measurements need a date, method and location, and a competent specialist must decide how they affect the design.

Record the source

Identify mains, tank, pump, borehole or other supply and who controls it. Note shared supplies and known changes, restrictions or planned work.

Keep test context

For any flow or pressure result, record who tested, when, where, the equipment and site conditions. Do not reuse an old or neighbouring result as if it describes the current design point.

Show access and constraints

Mark plant space, routes, levels, frost exposure, drainage, electrical availability and working restrictions. Ask the specialist which additional tests or permissions are required.
